Thread Permission

I just installed my first johncms yesterday, and how do I set the thread's permission? I mean there is a thread that should not be visible by the member or non member, only an admin or certain degree of users can view it, a help would be much appreciated.

There are no permission settings for threads. But you can use admin club for this purpose.

ouch, that's hurt, is there any mod that can set Thread's permission? I think those feature is what jcms needed the most, admin club is just like a guestbook to me. Ok thank you I will try to mod that things up.

I found a way to limiting a thread's permission, a single one, first of all you can create a topic whenever you want, and after that just delete it, dont worry, its still accessible, its just became a hidden topic, user with the level of mod and above can accessing it, problem solved.
