use VPS from wooservers my Previously control panel is Directadmin but im change to Control panel so must Reinstall server(Centos 6) Now i use Virtualmin panel(I've never had a problem with the control panel and got to work.)
All pages are no problem, other than the home page
I've had such a problem had arisen in DirectAdmin. The problem was solved by turning off safe_mode = Off & open_basedir = Off.

Your new hosting is not support PHP language or you just not enable PHP for current domain in hosting control panel.

wapsun, sometimes I have such problem on my hosting when files copied with error, so try to copy your backup to the hosting once more
if it's only in mainmenu.php, you need only this file

PHP language Was inactive
PHP script execution mode option FCGId (run as virtual server owner) im change to Apache mod_php (run as Apache's user)

Koenig, I've changed mainpage.php <? => <?php

Also short_open_tag = on in /etc/php.ini
